My name is Wesley Hindle, I'm a QA Tester/Games Designer. I started studying games design at the University of Bolton in 2009 and graduated in December of 2012 with a First Class Honours.

I came into games quite late in life, with a small number of racing and sport games before getting into MMO gaming. Before starting University I hadn't done any form of game design, level design or programming. After starting however I started to enjoy designing things, and found myself leaning more to the scripting side of things using editors such as the StarCraft II Map creator.

At University I learned to use tool such as Unreal Engine 3, Unreal Development Kit, Source SDK (Half-Life 2, Left 4 Dead 2), Unity and the StarCraft II engine. I have also done work using 3D Studio Max and Maya as well as some programming using C# and java in both Unity and XNA.

While at University I was also Fortunate enough to do some voluntary QA testing for a number of companies including Codemasters, Evolution Studios and iPlay. This exposed me to some industry practises and tools such as JIRA.
